I think that as 1/2 of humanity who bear the unique burden of birthing humanity that women alone should decide the abortion issue. Therefore the U.S. solution to the abortion issue would entail a constitutional amendment allowing for women alone votes on qualifying laws, identity politics to the extreme you might say.

Students and stoves
My experience with socialism is exemplified by a community stove in a house full of students where I rented a room. Nobody cleaned the stove, ever. I have no reason to believe it would work any differently on an expanded scale. When everybody owns the stove nobody cleans the stove.
